I love what I do and wouldn’t trade this job for anything. Growing up I played Football, Baseball, and Track. I continued playing football at University of buffalo while receiving a B.S in Human Performance & Sports/ Exercise Psychology. I have become certified in other areas so I could better train others.

I love working with athletes of all ages with differing goals, and even different programs. It’s amazing to see what changes a person can make, even in a short time, with the right motivation, atmosphere, and program.

I love fitness, my family (both gym family and biological family), and my puppies. Growing up I participated in Track & Field, Cheerleading, and Snowboarding. Since then I have had a passion for helping others reach their goals through fitness and nutrition.

I’ve been a coach and involved in athletics all my life. Helping others achieve their goals at all levels makes me happy. I enjoy both coaching CrossFit and living the CrossFit lifestyle. I have 3 amazing kids, 1 unbelievably amazing wife, 3 grandkids, and 2 dogs that keep me busy!

My goal is to be healthy into my 90s and help other people do the same!

Alec Courtney

Physical Therapist / CrossFit Coach

I love being a Trainer and a Physical Therapist. My goal is to help people move better through exercise. In high school I played Ice Hockey and Golf. Throughout my experiences I grew a love for functional movement.

In college I received multiple degrees and certifications such as:

Logan Overton(CrossFit Coach / Performance Coach)

Exercise and nutrition is a passion of mine. I recently did my internship with Absolute Performance and fell in love with the athletes, the programs, and training! I am currently finishing up my bachelors in exercise science and working towards gaining my CrossFit Level 1.

Jason Funk

CrossFit Coach / Performance Coach

Training has been a big part of my life since high school. I trained in Absolute Performance’s D1 Program all throughout high school. I am so grateful to now be a part of this community. I love coaching the younger groups as well as the High-school groups.

Watching their form, speed, and explosiveness increase in only a couple weeks is why I love coaching these groups. I am currently furthering my education in training by working towards my CrossFit Level 1.

Mitchell Schrecongost

Sports and movement have always been a part of my life. In high school I participated in football, basketball, track & Field, and baseball. Now I train in crossfit classes and love it! I enjoy learning about exercise and movement throughout each class.

Even though I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I received my CrossFit Level 1 certificate in 2023 so I can share my passion by coaching others! I am currently working towards getting my CrossFit Level 2!
